30 Day Pushup Challenge Day 2

As expected, my arms were sore and tired after 100 pushups yesterday. I could feel a bit of pain even when I was just using a knife to cut the chicken breast for my breakfast. As I was trying to do the first set of push ups, I found that I can only go down for a little bit, not even half of the range and my arms will cramp if I go down further. This is a sign from my body telling me that I cannot receive such intensity of work out for now. I really don’t want to give up and just stop doing this because my arms are sore, but also I am aware that continuing with such high intensity only makes the situation worse. Therefore, I decided to keep going on. Yes, I will continue. But instead of doing kneel push ups (some say girl push ups but I don’t think that’s good) as shown in Day 1, I am doing a more easier pushup: Table push ups.

I found this much more easier and it is a bit challenging especially when my arms are sore. This is also manageble and I believe I can complete them. I have no idea why I would do this because normally I would just simply give up and think doing push ups are meaningless because it is too easy. But once again, just like being an artist, results are not the most crucial thing but the process. So I guess it is better to continue eventhough I am doing in a much easier way, then just do one day and stop. Isn’t this exactly the story of The Tortoise and the Hare from Aesop? Well, I would rather be tortoise if that’s the case.
